Hi!

New member here. I'm about to pull the trigger on a K200D or a K20D. It's my first DSLR purchase, and the only one I'll be able to make for a long time so I thought I'd join and discuss the ups and downs of these models first.
I'm "graduating" from using a Canon S3IS advanced compact for the past few years. Otherwise I shoot film on an old Minolta X700 & a Holga.
This site is a great resource!

Welcome to the forum.
You'll do well to make the comparisons using the forum's Camera Review Database, which discusses each camera in detail.

Welcome to the forums! Like Ash said, check out the database and any other reviews you can find. I think you'd be hard pressed to to find a better deal at this time then the K20D though. The weather sealing is a big plus as is the better viewfinder

Yes since the prices are close, I'd recommend the K20D as well. Welcome to the forums

As you can see I am a new member too. Before registering I have been reading this forum for many months and I can tell you it's a very helpful and friendly forum. I am also still without my first DSLR, but hopefully not for long. Good luck!
