I'm a new member that owns a K10D and just purchased a K-X. I plan to use the K10D with my telephoto and the K-X with the standard lens. This will help reduce the chance of introducing those unwanted dust spots during lens changes.

I was also torn on whether to buy the K20d or the K-X. I finally believed that your just kidding yourself if you think the K20D is a better camera. The bottom line is overall picture quality which the K-X wins hands down. The K-X also has plenty of manual control for the advanced photographer. It is what it is for a much more reasonable price!

Welcome aboard. I think the k20d and KX are a different breed, and not necessarily one being better. It really depends on what you are looking for in a camera, price, weather sealing, preference between the Sony and Samsung sensors, etc.

Anyways, it's great to see another new K-X owner. Hope you enjoy the forum.

Welcome to the forum! I have a K10D too. What a great camera it is too. I'm almost about ready to make a change. I thinking K7 though. I'll have to wait until the price drops a bit more though.

Welcome here Tom.
The K-x sure is a fine camera, just remember that it is an entry-level model and is designed as such, regardless of its superior sensor.
