Hello from Fotoboat

Hello everyone! I last used Pentax kit regularly about 20 years ago, using a K1000 and f1.7 standard lens (which I still have) and a Sigma 35-135 zoom (which I have given away but might be able to get back...). Six years ago I set up the Fotoboat website, specialising in small boat photography and focussed on selling prints to sailors through the internet.

I currently use Canon DSLRs and lenses for the Fotoboat work, but when my favourite lens died this year from internal salt water corrosion, I was attracted by the new range of weather sealed Pentax bodies and lenses. Pentax UK have given me the opportunity to try out a K7 and 5-200 DA WR lens. You can read about my experience with it on my blog. I'd be happy to answer questions either through this forum, or the blog. Thanks for reading!

Welcome to the forum. It sounds like weather sealing is very important for you. Please let us know how your set up responds to the weather.
