Hello, my name is Hali (well nickname) and I'm a music technology and popular music student at Huddersfield University in the UK.

Joined up because I've owned my Pentax K200D for almost two years and only recently have I really had the time to get to grips with it. Photography is my biggest interest after music and often the things I capture influence my music far more than any other music can do. Generally the photos I take are landscapes and urban decay, I would like to try doing portraits and street photography but I always feel self conscious taking photos let alone actually talking to people when I'm doing it!

Hopefully I'll stick around and learn a lot! In the meantime I'm off to post my first photo!

Welcome aboard, Hali. I also am new here and have had my K200D for a year -- love it. There's a current threat on urban decay in the mini-challenges which you might enjoy. Looking forward to seeing your photos.
