Hi, from a not so newbie

Hi all,

Many names I recognize and I am sure many more which I will come to recognize. Some of you might know me from my presence on dpreview. I am one of the originals there; I had my *istD before they even had a Pentax DSLR forum. God I feel old.

Hi Darren, thought I'd join you and the others here. Lots of familiar names from DPReview. Think I've had a *istD almost as long as you but now I have a K10D on order so I dont know how much use it will get!

Seeing two oldies at the same time with their first post at a new place - fun!
Welcome, and I hope you'll like it here. I visit from time to time, sometimes a little slow pace but I think it suits me. Then I take some more time thinking before posting. Feeling friendlier that way.

regards,

Jonas

Hi Darren, Steve, Jonas, and Tracey

Happy Thanksgiving to all.
After lurking here for awhile I also decided to come out of the closest today. Athough I'm on dial-up and I work a lot of hours, I may have to chose between the two forums to hang out. I like the layout of this one...

Hey guys

Good to see some more familiar faces. It is especially nice to see names with good experience and some longevity at DPR coming over.

Hi Darren!

Good to see you registering here. Very nice place.

Yeah, I was happy with a Spotmatic SP and a 50/1.4 Super-Tak, scanning my images using a Minolta film scanner, when you had the D. Ancient history of 3 years ago, lol. This digital age is way too fast.

Welcome and looking forward to your posts here.

Cheers!

Welcome to you as well, Steve!

Speaking of the K10D, the wait is not good on the senses, but can do nothing else while my new machine sits in some cold, dark container on a freight ship.

Looking forward to your posts here!

Cheers!
