Hello from NW Montana

Just thought I would drop a note here to introduce myself. Discovered this excellent forum upon doing some looking around after I received a K2000 body recently. My primary goal for photography is to be able to shoot good quality pictures of kitchen cabinetry, bathroom vanities and other custom woodworking that I do.

I have a few lenses from my older Pentax cameras as follows:'

SMC Pentax FA 1:3.5-5.6 28-80MM
Tamron 80-210mm 1:4.5-5.6
Ashi Takumar 1:2.5 135mm
SMC Pentax-M 1:2 50mm

Have been doing a lot of reading and experimenting, I am not real happy with the clarity of the pictures I have been taking (especially with flash) but I do have a new (used) lens on the way that will hopefully improve things a bit.

I would like to take the time to thank those who have posted some tremendous information on this site -- have only been here for about a week and have learned 'a ton' in that short time.

Welcome Stan,
You'll find this forum quite resourceful.
You've got some good lenses to get you going - enjoy them on your K-m.
You may find your 50mm lens suiting your purposes quite well.
