Hi,and happy new year

Hello,happy new year to all. I'm Bill.Went out today and got some pretty good shots
of Trumpeter swans and Bald eagles that winter here.Anybody else into birding with a pentax?

You're in good company here - there are a number of birders on the forum, and even a quite active thread of birds in flight here.

Hi Iris (Guten Tag) is that right? I notice your shooting a K7,how does it stand up to really cold
weather,have you tried it in those conditions? sorry it took so long to respond,nice to here from you

Hi Bill,

For German it is perfect (if you want to say good day), but in the Netherlands we say "goede dag", but you can also say "hallo"!

I only have the K-7 for a month now, so I don't have much experience yet!
And it's a bit depending what you think is really cold. I have only tried it with a few degrees below zero (Celsius).
I think the camera is performing better in cold weather than I am .
