Hi All, Kevin here from sunny RSA. I've had a K200 for about 18mths, and have been browsing PentaxForum on several occasions for info and news. Very useful Pentax and dslr reference, and well done to all who maintain and contribute.

My interest in photograph is strictly for pleasure. Previously had an MX (which is still around on loan to brother) and a few lenses, but then drifted into the digital P&S domain. Still use and very fond of Canon P.Shot S2-IS for convenience, but now building up Pentax equipment again.

Nice to see a Capetonian here. Myself I dwell at the other end (Sweden) but I visit SA and CT regularly and love the town. What part more specifically do you live in?

I've been at it for a while, but this is what I have

K200D; Pentax DA 18-55 AL f3.5-5.6 kit, Pentax M-50 f1.7 from the old MX; Tamron 70-300 DI LD f4-5.6 Macro 1:2

Just recently bought Sigma 10-20 EX DC f4-5.6 and Sigma 170-500 APO DG f5-6.3. The 10-20 is a wonderful addition.

But I also like the old P&S which I use often. This is a Canon PowerShot S2-IS with a 12x optical zoom. It just takes such nice pics.
