Semi traitor from N Idaho

Hi, name is Del, recently bought a nice used K10D to try and improve my manual glass situation. (Unfortunately I've not got a "pile" of manual glass)

I started with Canon Xt/ 350D, but the viewfinder is horrid. I "geared up" to a 40D, then bought a 30D for backup, but the metering in the 40D is awful with manual glass

I have a few PK mount lenses, and a number of Tamron Adaptall stuff, so can now have proper aperture control as well as auto stop down, and antishake.

I also have a few M42 mount, but some interfere at the flange. I'll have to fiddle, there.

I've got some Nikkors and Oly OM mount, too, so they will have to stay on the Canon.

My health is not the best--osteo/ arthritis, amoungst other 'stuff' so some playing will have to wait for better weather. I recently bought a Tamron Adaptall 60B 300mm 2.8, so am anxious to try that out.

For what it's worth, my Flickr page:

and some of the modifications and projects I've attempted

Welcome to the forum Del.
You'll find the K10D a fine tool with manual glass - and Pentax have retained that legacy with their newer models too...
You have a fine fireworks collection there.
Nice one.
Look forward to your contributions here.
