New to DSLR's, starting with a *ist DL

Just bought a *ist DL with a 20x80mm lens and all the stock accessories plus a 2 gig card for $300.

I am fairly camera term illiterate and I really excited to find this place and look forward to learning.

Welcome to the forum, and hope you enjoy your time here.
There's lots of information on the *ist DL in the archives of the forum, so have a look through if you're ever stuck with an issue using the camera.
