Hello, I've been shooting off and on for the past thirty years or so (though mostly off for the past ten). As my nym says I've owned and shot Canon FD, last one being the T90. I have also dabbled with medium format (Kowa Six, Y24TL), and large format (Linhof Tech III). I suppose I am still just a wee bit peeved that FD and EF don't mix.:ugh:
Anyways, Ive recently acquired a Pentax K10D and serendipitously discovered that the lens from the bygone era of manual focus fit and work perfectly without any complicated workarounds (shows how long I've been out of touch). Well, say no more! Finally, the time has come to dig out the Canons, the Linhofs and the Schneiders that's been hiding in the corners, give'em a spit n' shine and turf'em out the door (that's the plan anyways)!
And, make way for the Pentax K-m's and K-a's!
I've been poring over the forum for the past few days looking to map my next purchases and to glean some hints on how get the most out of the K10D, which will be my DSLR of choice at least until the K-7 or K20D are remodeled.
Best Regards,
