i have been a long time lurker any finally decided to register, can't wait to start posting it has been snowing here in new brunswick canada since last night.

Welcome aboard! There are quite a few of us from Canada here. I'll be flying out of here on the west coast to be in Halifax next week....a little ways away from where you are but I'm guessing it's snowing there too...

Looking forward to seeing a few pics of Fredericton....

yeah they got some snow too, not as much as us, if you have time to take some pics there are some good spots in Halifax although this time of year it may not be the best.

about a year ago i was trying to figure out if what brand of DSLR i should go with, i ended up getting a K200 my father in law used to shoot with Pentax SLR flim cameras and he got out of it in 2000 so when i was looking at cameras he said that he would give me all his stuff so that kinda sealed the deal for me lol, i love the K200 but i want a new camera i was looking at the k-x but i might wait and see what else comes out this year.

What's wrong with the K200D? I have one myself, but i'm thinking about stepping up to the K20 when the budget allows.

nothing is wrong with the K200 its just that i find me and my wife fighting over it all the time.... i thought that the K-X was the replacement for the K200 but it seems that it is not, so i am going to wait a bit longer
