New here, too!

Also from dpreview forums. I thought I would pre-empt getting kicked out, because phil askey's behaviour was getting on my nerves.

Really surprised to come here and find all these people I know already (have been lurking on dpreview for ages) - like a parallel dimension, or your clones, or something!

Anyway, to introduce myself, I'm Duncan and I live in Oxford, UK, where I'm studying medicine. Next year I finish - arghh! I been a photographer for around a decade, starting with the program-a, then super-a and now an lx. One day I'll probably get a dslr as well, but at the moment I'm quite happy (not to mention I can't afford one).

Look forward to discussing photo-related things here!

Duncan.

Welcome aboard Duncan,
It's always good to have new faces on the forum. I know for a fact you won't have the same problem here as you saw on DP. Our Admin. and Mods participate and post on a regular basis and are great people. I'm sure you will find some of the old crowd here as well.

Good Shooting.
Cheers: David

Hi Duncan, nice to know an elite from oxford. I could still recall my years in the medical school with these visiting medical students from oxford ...

They talked to themselves and recited textbooks like a bunch of walking encyclopedia. A bit scary but convincingly gifted.

Great to see you here and already witnessed your talents in photography. Trust me, your funds will slowly build up in the future.

p.s. I heard from a lot of UK work-travel doctors talking about that only 1/3 of new graduates get jobs these days after internship in UK?

Hope that is not true...

James
