I've grow up on Pentax's, love them. The other day I was down in Houston Tx, at Houston Camera Exchange, I was there to trade up some old lens for better ones. The salesman told me that Pentax was died. And he would not take anything from me or Pentax. He also said that pentax was out of business, that all my equipment was junk now. And I would be wasting my money on a new lens.

Im glad to see that he was wrong.

I found your site while looking for some help with my k100d. I found out all I need was a software update. I never knew it need that. Thanks already for the help. I have learned a butt load in just two days of being a 'guest.'

Pentax the great zombie camera brand! Even when declared dead (and that seems to happen more then once) it lives on and on... Welcome to the forum Brian! We are alive to!
