Yet another dpreviewer...

Saw this site mentioned in a recent thread about Asad... decided to drop by.

First thing I noticed here actually was forum software from this millennium.

I've been "into" photography for about 2 years now. My Ds is my first SLR camera of any kind... in the 18 months I've had it, I think I've taken perhaps 15k pictures with it. While I love landscapes, I really only have time for family pictures (candids, portraits, events) and whatever catches my eye around the house...

Welcome Pog,
I'm sure you will find our forum interesting and helpfull. You will not only find Asad here but many other dpreview members who made the jump also. Some like me who check in on the other forum from time to time but have found this place a little more to our liking. There are so many features here that I have come to really enjoy, and the people, the admin and mods are really great people who understand photography and know Pentax.

Welcome aboard, and great to have you contribute.

That IS funny but true.

Welcome. Maui eh! Bet you can post some amazing images. "candid" or family photography are a class to be reckoned with.

LoL! Yet another one. Good, absolutely no reason for me to ever go back there.

Yeah, the software is nice and much more functional. Site and forum much more conductive to good discussions and image posting.

Looking forward to your posts here as well.
