Hello from the East Coast of MN

I just registered and do not own any equipment yet. I found the site searching for information and reviews on the K-x and enjoyed the content here greatly, especially the wonderful pictures people here have posted. I am hoping to buy my first SLR soon and like what I have read about he K-X and its' price. I will be visiting the beginners corner and asking a few questions while I think things over and figure out how to convince my wife 700 some dollars American is a great price for this camera.

Howdy Everybody
Tom

Welcome to the forum. I'm sure you can figure out how to convince your wife (jewlery always works).

Just buy it, because the creed for us married guys is that it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permisision.

It's especially important to learn this art before LBA sets in.

Thats a damn good point.

You should be able to find it cheaper than $700. Welcome in Tom.

Love the attitude and agree

I will probably buy it but want the kit that includes the 55-300 DA L and my wife had some, I was just going to say health problems, but the truth is she is still a lung cancer patient which is not as big a deal as it sounds we caught it early and she is not doing Chemo or anything. She did spend a month in the hospital however with a leaky lung after the Lobectomy though so it has been little jewelry for her and not many toys for me. Anyway I am still doing due diligence in determining if this is exactly what I want to buy before I go for it.

Thanks for the Enthusiasm
Tom
