I love my Pentax and came to the forums when I heard there was a new 400 lens available for my istD....This is an awesome forum and just got started
and love the photos...I am just a beginner but hope to learn alot of tips and sugggestions

Welcome to the forum M.
You will find this forum quite informative starting out as you are.
I know I did.
Your *ist D is a very decent camera - I really loved the colours that sensor produced in my images.
Do read up on the exposure triad and lighting techniques for starters, browse through the photography articles on this forum and keep practicing.
