Hi, I am an old engineer, now retired, who has had Pentax cameras for many years. My first one was a Spotmatic F, which I bought second hand in the sixties. Later I fell in love with the ME-serie, but it was way too expensive for me then. By chance I found out resently that old analogue cameras are very cheap today if you buy them on the net. So I now have a couple of ME super, with winder, date back lid, flash and some lenses. They take good pictures, but after thirty years or more in use they need some overhaul. I found through this forum some very good service directions, and I am now eager to try to bring my ME super cameras back to perfect operating conditions.
I have checked prices for used old Pentaxes also in other countries like Germany and Italy and found that offered prices there are much higher than in Sweden. If you find anything of interest on sites like
