New to Photography

Hi All,

I'm from a little town in Kentucky where you don't really get to see much of anything, but I have come to realize the photography potential this little town has to offer. Anyways, I am new to the world of taking pictures and just purchased my first DSLR, a Pentax K-x and am excited to start using it this week. Can't wait to learn more about this camera and the many features it has to offer, and can't wait to share photos with everyone in the future.

In time, spotting photos should get easier even if your surroundings seem a little bland.

Sometime seeing the same things again and again can force you to expand your powers of "seeing" and trying to see them in new ways and from new angles. Welcome and we look forward to seeing your town.

Whether your interest is dSLR & lenses, film photograph or digital, medium (6 x 7, 645, and 645D) format, subminiature (110), or collecting vintage bodies & glass (Spoties, Taks etc) or a combination of the above, you are at the right place. I'm looking forward to seeing some images.
