Another Frog

Hello guys !

I think my pathway is quite atypical so I'll describe it here.

Everything started in the Loire Valley, in France, where I live today. I were on a flea market, when I stood before a stand of old cameras. I talked more than an hour with the seller without buying anything.
I quit and I didn't know the virus was inside of me.
Few weeks later, I bought my first argentic camera, an old Japanese TLR and had a lot of fun with it. I discovered the art of exposure calculatuion and to "look the light".

I bought other cameras and, with time, the photos I took with my sony compact camera disgusted me more and more.

And, a day, I discovered on a forum that people had the crazy idea to put old camera lenses on new reflex cameras.

I choosed a K200D (my father was an old pentax user) on which I installed a stigmometer to be as ease as with my praktica MTL5. And so, the history begins.

I learned a lot reading at articles here without participating.
Perhaps that's the moment !

Hello! Welcome to the forums!

Being relatively new myself, I have to say the variety and depth of information here is just astounding, as is the friendliness of the community. Even the grouchy ones are nice, just grouchy!

I hope to see some photos of your part of the world. I'm fascinated with travel but do not get to enjoy enough of it.
