Hello from Redding, Ca.

Thought I'd jump in and say Hi from Northern California!

After being out of photography for about 20 years, I decided to get back into it about 3 years ago and bought myself a K100D (with an 18-55 & 100 Macro lens). Some of the best money I've spent in a long time!

Here I am, 3 years and about 12,000 photos (they sure add up, don't they?) later, I'm finally joining up!

Better late than never, huh?

Welcome Dave. My wife's from Redding, but we live in Sacramento. We're going back this weekend for the Cool April Nights car show and I'll have my Pentax in hand.

The weather has been pretty nasty the past week or so, lots of rain.

The weather people said it's *supposed* to clear up on Saturday...but I'll believe it when I see it!

Welcome to the forum. There is a wealth of knowledge here that will surely help you out. even though you have had your K100D for awhile I would suggest that you check out the DSLR section if you have any questions on your camera. I used that camera for a year before upgrading to the K20D and it really is a great camera.
