A day late and a dollar short

Hello folks,

I guess I started off on the wrong foot by jumping right into the political forum.

Just too much temptation to resist and argument with my liberal brothers and sisters.

Some people take politics too seriously (me included) .

Anyway, I am new here and have just purchased my first DSLR. It is a K7. I have also purchased the following lenses.

FA77mmF1.8 Limited
FA31MMF1.8 Limited
SMC DA* 60-250mm f/4
SMC DA* Series 16-50 2.8
DA 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5 ED Fisheye

Yeah I know its a lot for a new guy, but I had a good month in my little ebay store and had the opportunity to get all that. Now it is time to learn and use it So far I have really enjoyed the 31 MM Limited. Fun Lens. I have taken some photos outside at night with very little lightning and they came out surprisingly well... at least for me, although that is not saying a lot.

As of myself.

I work for a law firm part time, run an ebay store part time and serve the Orthodox Church as a Deacon full time. I am graduating St. Sophias Seminary this year.

I am blessed with a wonderful wife and a beautiful daughter who is the joy of my life.

Here is a photo that was taken of us after the 2010 Pascha (Easter) Liturgy (Mass)

I am Ukrainian and my wife is Polish. My daughter Anna is made in America with Polish and Ukrainian parts

I see a good amount of overlap in those lenses; why the 60-250 AND the 50-135?

Welcome, Borislav.

With the K-7 and all that great glass, who needs politics?

Enjoy the forum!

Oh I am sorry that was a typo.. I cut and pasted the wrong thing. That was actually orginally on my wish list... I ended up getting the 60-250 instead of the 50-135 and got the 16-50 2.8 instead.

Going to go back and edit.

Welcome to the forum. There is a wealth of knowledge here that will surely help you out. Since you just got your K7 I would suggest that you check out the DSLR section if you have any questions on your new camera. I hope to see some photos from you soon.

Welcome to PentaxForums! Whether your interest is dSLR & lenses, film photograph or digital, medium (6 x 7, 645, and 645D) format, subminiature (110), or collecting vintage bodies & glass (Spoties, Taks etc) or a combination of the above, you are at the right place. I'm looking forward to seeing some images. I have personally banned myself from the political forum and have never posted in it.
