15 years after my beloved Pentax ME Super died, I've rejoined the SLR ranks with a K20D. It is all so different, I'm hoping to pick up lots of helpful hints on this site. Um, how do you turn it on? (JK)

Welcome! And as far as turning your K20 on, things have advanced a lot since your last camera:

All you have to do how is squint your eyes and telepathically instruct the cam to power up. Metering works the same way, but focusing is done by wiggling your big toe.

To upload pictures to your computer, simply touch the cam with your left hand, touch your computer with your right, and say. "Upload."

Hope you have fun here and learn a lot. That's been MY experience here.

Coming from Chicago, you're one of the few people who will actually get my jokes.

Welcome to the forum. There is a wealth of knowledge here that will surely help you out. Since you just got your K20D I would suggest that you check out the DSLR section if you have any questions on your new camera. I have been using this camera for over a year now and I still absolutely love it.
