Bonjour from the Jungle

Greetings all,

This is Fenix from Los Angeles. Got my first DSLR, a K-x, not too long ago and so far it's been good to me. It seems the possibilities of this camera are way above anything I could possibly appreciate right now as I am brutally illiterate with regards to photography, but hopefully I will learn to shoot better photos by the time I have surfed this site for a couple of weeks.

Welcome in & have fun with your K-x Fenix.

Do some reading and then more reading. Don't forget to go out and take heaps of photos. You can't learn from your mistakes if you're not making any.

I frequently get around LA. I guess Griffith observatory is my favorite location, lately.

Donfenix, Welcome to PentaxForums. Some of our most prolific image posters are from L.A. But whether your interest is dSLR & lenses, film or digital photography, medium (6 x 7, 645, and 645D) format, subminiature (110), or collecting vintage bodies & glass (Spoties, Taks etc) or a combination of the above, you are at the right place. I'm looking forward to seeing some images.
