Great tips, I had figured out some of it, and now lots more good tips to help more.

A question though, what is a "CP"? I think I figured out that "OP" is the original poster, but have never seen a definition.

Perhaps sometime in the future there can be a list of frequently used acronyms, as an example "MTF".

Thanks, eagerly awaiting more tips for a somewhat challenged new forum member!

CP = Control Panel. In this case User Control Panel where you can access a lot of your user options.

It appears that the text in the search box has to be a certain characters long. For example enter 1.4 in the search and you wont find any hits.

The mark all posts read is a good function to use. You may not wish to read all bunch glance over the topic of posts and before you leave mark all posts read. Next time you return to the forum only the new posts since your last visit will show as "new posts".

You can always go back and read older posts..but this will help keep you current.

Ok why when you sometimes post comments on "Share you Photos" section are your threads not found by the search for all my posts button?

I will try and provide an example...

Hey Adam, I'm curious as to if there is a way to see how/when you received reputation points. I have 13 points and would like to know how I got them. Thanks.

Please start a separate thread in the site help forum for any unrelated questions, and I'll gladly answer them. Thanks!

Thanks

Thanks for explaining how the site works. I'm always signed in when I am looking over the site. I wasn't aware of the different ways to sort the threads.

Thanks for the explanation of RSS. I guess it is for keeping up on responces and eliminating redundancies?
