As you can see by my join date, I'm taking the "it's a marathon" approach.

Another Great Tutorial

Thanks Adam.
This time knew most of the features but still picked up a couple of things.

Also could not add to your recommendation at the moment due to previous recommendation.

Cheers

I like the layout of the forum, it's probably one of the best I've ever seen :-). And the wealth of info is just confounding! Thanks Adam, now for me to do some more learning!

There were a few things I'd like to use that were in front of me, but that I failed to see every day. Seeing it here made me realize, OH!

How's the rep to thread update count going? It occurred to me how this sort of thing could help identify if your concern of the reduction in thread updates due to the rep'ing system is the case.

Nice work Adam...it will help newcomers, who I often hear complain on other sites that it is hard to negotiate PentaxForums? It really has always been easy, but it is a large site (Good!) and could confuse a newcomer, no doudt.

I have a couple of items of note...as I have been doing for a very long time now, I am again complaining about not having a "Donate Here" Bold Button on the header of the Home Page. This is a fine site, and many more than do would donate more frequently if it was clearly marked and easy to click........I have no idea why anyone would find this objectionable.......but I can tell you that those Salvation Army Santas with their donation kettles don't hang out at the back of Walmart stores....do they? Put it up there on front and I will try to be the first to drop $50 in the pot.

Secondly, with all the great individual Forums here, all I find missing is a Squirrel Forum! LOL! We have near 500 Members in the WSSA (Worldwide Squirrel Shooters Association) and I am betting most of them would enjoy a Squirrel Forum or such over here? Festus made me post this.....Otis had a few words too, but I can't repeat those.....

Thirdly, I never did understand the "Reputation" thing......but on reflection, it is unlikely that I should ever need to?

Best Regards! & Thanks for your continued efforts to improve this site!

I can add a donation button to the homepage, yes (one is already shown in the navbar for people who haven't donated!). Not a bad idea; I was considering making other improvements to the homepage as well, so this addition will be going along nicely.

I suggested a social group for the squirrel shooters (cool stuff BTW), but they preferred Flickr. So be it! We allow albums here, too...

Thanks for the post!
