i hope i'm not being negative, but i think we need a broader theme, macro or cars seems a bit specific... am i the only one who thinks so?

i like "emotions" that has been suggested.

i would like to suggest "life"

I was thinking the same thing. It need to encompass everyone internationally. I like the snow at night suggestion, but not everyone has snow this time of year, or ever.

I suggest "old and new".

How about "Haunted" as a theme?

That could mean any number of things. Someone being emotionally haunted, a spooky scenario, things and places being haunted by their pasts etc...
