I second to femimystic, I like the idea of "Extraordinary or Once in a Lifetime Shots" it is a broad theme and it allows a lot of creativity, which IMHO it is the best side of the photography.

Since one of the joys of an international forum like this is getting a glimpse of different parts of the world, why not a theme like "your community" or "your world" which would allow participants to contribute one shot that, for them, best sums up where they live with a few words about why. That leaves open natural, urban, people, architecture, weather and so many other previously mentioned themes.
