geotagging member photos

Hi Adam, would it be too much of an ask to add geotag tags to photos with either the contained DNG data, or a user selected Google map point?
If so, could we also add a search for member photos via geographic location reference or name?

The user photo gallery and album system currently read image gps info from the EXIF, if available. A search over these values won't be possible, as they're read on-the-fly.
