I'll play - definitely going to be out and about with my ME on the 15th. Whether or not I can get a scan is another matter...

This will be the first time I'll be participating in something like this, I'm excited! One question though; are HDR photos allowed? (not that I'm any good at them but I'd like to try, lol)

Absolutely- as long as they're taken with a Pentax!

Well, I've been out and taken my first set of shots. Now just have to wait til the 15th rolls around on the other side of the planet

[edit] Uploaded a couple. Do I get a prize for being first? :P

I have been shooting all day in Washington DC. I know it doesn’t count!
But I will be on a photo walk at the Eastern State Penitentiary in Philly tomorrow! Can’t wait!

So you reckon you beat us poor Mexicans!!

Been an ordinary (s@*t) day down here..overcast..drizzly.. and foggy not flash for contrasty stuff...but that's what this is all about I suppose!

I took a few shots non the less and will do my best.

Do shots of old photographs count??? Are you listening Adam? I wonder!

Anyway all the best to you up north in Newcastle

Rofl Paddy!. I was awake at 4 so I figured I might as well get my shots done early. I wanted to get some with people but they were a bit reluctant to come out this morning. I needed to get going before the cafe crowd emerged for brekkie

And yeah, I noticed some... erm... outdated... stuff... too.

Hope your day went well, the weather deteriorated rapidly up here too.

Gudday kyteflyer

Should have chucked a few yonnies at the birds an' went back to sleep!

BUT..no I meant shots of old photographs...went to visit mum .. as I do on Sundays...and there were these marvelous old photos from circa 1900 (about 3"x2") of my Scots ancestors.

Turned out brilliant in the viewfinder afterwards .. but I guess that's not dinky dy is it?

Used a KX with Sigma 28-80 aspherical on macro.

Anyway..cheers cobber

Paddy.

I forgot! :(

I forgot about this until about 4PM.

By then the light was pretty crap outside and I only have cheap lens's sadly.

I took a couple of pics and then ran out of film and battery. (Batteries been sitting in the camera for months, lol).

There's still a couple of hours left. I'll see if I can think of something different to take a picture of in the house with the flash.

If only I had a tripod, decent zoom, or a better flash I could get a cool picture of our bandicoot or possum in the back yard tonight.
