A while back, someone asked if we could add review counts, average ratings, and average prices to our camera review system. Today, I finally added all three of these features.



Average price and rating will now be visible for each camera, and the total number of reviews for each camera will be shown on the camera listings page.



A special note on how the average ratings and prices are calculated: only data from reviews posted after 7/25/2010 will be taken into account. This is because all reviews after that date utilize new database fields, which can be accessed easily by our script.

Also, expect us to be adding a screwmount section to the database by the end of the year. We're currently working on compiling screwmount body information and photos, and your contributions are welcome!
