Virus detected when accessing forum home page

My anti-virus software has started to inform me that the Pentaxforums homepage has a virus - js/generic, anyone else having this issue, its a bit concerning

nothing coming up from Norton about it still listing it as a clean site as of this morning

There are no viruses, lol- you can't even write one in javascript.

You can launch download and launch malware from Javascript. That is how "drive-by" attacks are done. In all likelihood Simon's AV software detected a suspicious block of code in a generic library that is common to a known malware launcher. While it is highly unlikely that PF is spreading a trojan, the possibility should not be dismissed out of hand. For what it is worth, my McAfee also gives PF a clean bill of health.

Are you sure your AV software isn't picking up on some sort of tracking cookie?

The only scripts on the homepage are google analytics, statcounter, and google adsense. I don't think YUI is even loaded.

Looks like it might be a cookie as the virus detection picks it up only when I log-in to the forum, time to re-run that anti-malaware software !!
