Question Why so many blank pages.

It's because I've been having to restart apache- the server coughs a bit as the processes get shut down and started back up. Once the segmentation problem is resolved, we should be back to normal.

PS: Bruce's problem is the same here, but as I understand it's just a case of time before that's resolved too...

I discovered that the page generation time of the homepage was several seconds due to uncached RSS parsing. I've now made use of the cache, and pages load in milliseconds now. Sorry for the late catch!

Let me know if the speed is satisfactory now- seems like the homepage loads instantaneously, and the forum considerably fast, but given larger filesize and generation times, it probably takes about half a second longer per pageload.

Note that additional quick maintenance may need to be performed within the next hour. Downtime should be no longer than 5 minutes.
