Still Have Major Site Problems

Wednesday evening, 7:30PM eastern time, and none of the links in the left-hand list work for me at all in Firefox or Safari on the Mac.

I was able to get to this forum by simply adding /forums to the main URL.

Adam--enjoy your turkey. The world will survive anyway.

I can't imagine the aggravation you've been going through.

Not sure what the issue is at your end Ira, but since going back online a couple of days ago the forum has worked as expected for me using Safari on Mac and Internet Explorer 8 on PC.
By the left hand list, do you mean the drop down toolbar menus or the Pentax forum folder and subfolder links?

It's just a list of links on the left-hand of the page, white type knocked out of black. Not a pull-down or anything.

Worked fine earlier today, not now, and based on the problems they've been having here, I really doubt it's just a my end thing.

Edit: 1 minute later.

Now the links work.

Is the homepage navbar rendering strangely for you in IE? I just added an announcement div to the upper-right. I can't test it using IE, but it looks kosher in firefox and konqueror, and the html is valid.

I meant IE. Thanks for checking in FF, though!

I tested it in IE Adam and it navigates correctly. The only thing I noticed is that the floater for the K-5 review is anchored to the upper left of the browser window and obscures the forum logo.

That appears to be resolution thing, on my 28" LCD I don't have any problems at full screen but I get the same thing if I scale down my browser window.

OT: I have to remind myself when i'm looking at images at 100% on my LCD that I will see things that are unlikely to be seen on a print smaller than the 28" LCD I'm viewing it on. Recently, I have been looking at 30" monitors in preparation of my purchase of a 645D.

Major problems just now again via Safari:

All links in the left-hand menu bring you to database error pages.

Now it's okay, but not before.
