I seem to recall that I started with a "reputation" of 10, which apparently has been downgraded to 0 for reasons that I do not know.

How can I find out why that happened? I already looked in my profile for clues, but didn't find anything anywhere.

New members start with a reputation of zero. Looks like you just registered, so your rep seems to be correct.

OK, thanks. I could swear I saw "10" when I started, and assumed this was the default, but obviously I misremember

Yup- you should also note that there's no "negative" reputation, so your rep can't even go down unless you torch the forums or something
