files too big to post here!

so i have some photos i would like to post in the critique section but the files are too large to post. i have a macbook and use iphoto to edit my images. any help on reducing the file size in order to post would be great!

Maximum dimension of about 1,000 pixels on the longest side works well because it does not get resized and recompressed by the forum software which can really soften it. Try it in your Album; upload a 1280 x (nnnn) shot then resize on your macbook to 1000 x (nnnn), upload and see the difference.

I am ASSUMING that the Album limitiations apply to other areas in the forum equally.

You don't even need the tags anymore, as Adam's magic automatically does that...but imgtall is still handy for the verticals...
