New RULES regarding "Not Safe For Work" material

Due to some recent misunderstandings over the rules regarding photos marked as "Not Safe for Work" (NSFW) or "Not Work-Safe" (NWS), we have developed a new clearer standard defining acceptable material on Pentax Forums.
QuoteQuote:
'Not Safe for Work' (or Not Work-Safe) content is permitted on the forums, but must be clearly labeled as such and not be deemed as offensive. Such content should be limited to mild nudity and may not be pornographic in nature or include actual, simulated or implied sexual activity. While the general "pubic area" may be visible, neither male or female genitalia may be visible or serve solely as the primary subject of the image. All NSFW/NWS threads are labeled in red and should only be opened if you are 18 years of age or older.

Basically this means no primary "below the waist" sexual organs (I can't spell them out since the forum naughty word censor will mask them) may be visible to any degree. The pubic area itself may be shown as long as the underlying sexual organs are either not distinguishable or are concealed via the pose or selective lighting and shadows.

Please note as well that any hint of sexual activity, whether it be actual, simulated or even implied, is strictly forbidden. This is NOT an adult site and while we find artistic value in the tasteful depiction of the human body, depictions of sexual activity are simply inappropriate here. Infractions of this part of the rule will result in an immediate and permanent ban from the site.

Please keep these standards in mind when/if you post mature material. We hope everyone understands and follows these rules willingly.

Thank You,

Mike

I don't want be banned or break the rules, I am well known rule-abider, so do I have to post any Red Not Worksafe headings for my shots like these? I don't do naked girls, Mrs Rupert frowns on it and anyhow I never can get the girls to take anything off......

Sexual organs?

I told her to put on a top...or several tops....
[IMG] [/IMG]

What if it only appears to be a sexual body part, but really isn't?
[IMG] [/IMG]

Thanks for your advice in advance, the Squirrels don't want to cause any problems here.
Best Regards
Rupert

Well, perhaps we need to specify that it applies to humans, but I would say that as long as you don't start to shave your squirells, these squirells are OK to post as they are dressed in their natural dress. And would you start to shave them it would earn you a 10 point infraction for illegal content since I bet "cruelty to animals" are illegal in the US.

Rupert...you have a great approach to take the tension out of the thread. But I am never going to disrobe in front of the first squirrel. Inadequacy hurts.

The OP makes perfect sense and may stop some problems before they start.

I'm NOT gonna specify "human genitalia" because then Rupert would inundate us with squirrel porn... LOL

That natural endowment is why most cities have a huge rat problem. For creatures their size rodents are rather gifted in that direction. I've had a few pet rats and one was male. He was an awesome little creature but it was embarrassing having him. His balls were actually bigger than average for a rat and having to explain to my too curious little nieces and nephews what those things were and what they were actually there for wasn't the easiest thing in the world. They noticed them on the squirrels too, and on a neighbor's dog that wasn't altered. I hate to alter a photograph not to show stuff like that, I mean it is just nature and all, but it can be really awkward taking pics of animals being animals when there are kids around. Nude humans? Oh I can just see the interesting discussions THAT would cause around here...

No worry, Festus is a modest minded Squirrel, and not into the perverse world of porn, but I do specifically prevent Otis from posting on any Website without an adult Squirrel present and proof viewing everything posted. Mama Festus usually has to wash out Otis' mouth about twice a week with soap. I let him use my Notebook once when I left it on deck furniture while I was cooking some steaks on the grill, and it took me all evening to delete the Squirrel Porn......that is some really nasty stuff, you don't ever want to have those images imprinted in your head. Squirrels are not so bad, but when I found his S&M site where they did inhuman things to a poor Raccoon, it was over the line.

Best Regards & Thanks for the clarification!
Rupert

Mama Festus....Keeping it clean! She is always fully clothed too!

I'd offer Rupert a set of giant chrome balls but it seems that he already has some of his own...

I seem to recall some of the insect macro shooters using NSFW tags for their more intimate insect shots, although it may have been in jest. Is that now considered an inappropriate use of the tags?

In general, tagging "bug porn" as NSFW would not be appropriate. Tag those as either nature or macros.
