Img tall tag

I like using the imgtall tag which limits the height of the displayed image to 800 pixels (I think) so all of it shows on the screen. This weekend, the tag causes the image not to display, and instead it is the image url.

Something change?

The tag has been removed. You can now use imgwide to get the same effect, and you can globally set maximum image height in your profile options (new option).

OK, the imgwide does limit the height - yay.

But I put 800 in the max height option (didn't use the img wide tag) and it wipes out all the images and url text, only leaving the captions I wrote. Took the 800 out, and it displays fine. Used img wide, and 900 pix and it makes no difference in height.

There was a small bug where the system actually used your width option for both the width and the height. Should be fixed now!

Older posts using imgtall are only showing the image code. I can't track them all down :-(

What do you mean? Parsed versions of posts are cached, so you'll likely be seeing a few incarnations of imgtall for another week.

Some of the posts I made a week or more ago, using imgwide tags, show only the image url this weekend.

This is one example. I had to fix the bird shot yesterday.

If they will self-correct over time, fine.

The code won't correct itself, but any parsings of it will. So you'll ideally want to strip the code of your posts.
