Success!!!
I finally figured out a way to do it. I copied a tag from another thread post to my desktop. Then I copied and pasted it into the "Upload Image From Your Computer" box on the edit signature page. Then I clicked "Save Signature". Went back to edit signature page and clicked "Insert Signature Picture" button in the "Your Current Signature Picture" box.

Hi Papou,

I'd prefer that you don't hotlink your sigpic since it wastes our server's bandwidth more than anything. If you want to paste it in e-mail and post it elsewhere, why not upload it to ImageShack® - Hosting?

I already succeeded loading a sig image but now that I tried to change it to another image I ran into an odd problem: The system refuse to accept my new image claiming that

"You may not upload animated images."

But I have no animated image, only a plain gif, in fact a slightly modified version of my previous image, which I deleted before trying to load a new one.

What to do?

I have been trying several times to add a sig pic. I have the photo on Photobucket. How do I add it to my sig? I've tried everything and keep getting just an underlined link.

Go to User CP, then click Edit Signature, Under Settings & Options on the menu bar on the left.

Once there, scroll down to the Signature Picture section, and in the Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website text box, enter the URL of the sig pic that you have saved on photobucket. Then click save signature.
