D-BG4 grip serial #

Having entered a couple of new numbers into the database, I noticed that there was a category for the above mentioned item. I never thought to look, as there is no serial # for that grip. At least not in the traditional sense. Out of the numbers that were entered, 2 of the 3 were series of numbers common to MY grip also. One of them may be the part number, as I have the exact same # on the UPC sticker. The other was stamped in blue/black ink on the lip of the grip and was exactly the same as the one on mine.

So I don't know how effective that is. I just thought I'd let you know.

Maybe Pentax can help.

Thanks,
Kevin

Wow, that is weird!! Maybe it's worth discussing in another section?
