I've noticed over the last few weeks that some posts in the My Posts section of My Activity | My Forum Activity is showing some posts as having new content when then thread hasn't changed.

Even if I visit the thread, the post icon will still show as having new posts.

Remember that you need to visit the last page of the thread for it to be considered read- reading the page with the post alone won't suffice.

Yes I understand that. However, tonight, all of my posts are showing as having unread posts in the threads. In threads that have had no activity for weeks.

Maybe it's just a display issue? The thread marking system only keeps track of the past 2 weeks of activity. If you could post a screenshot that would help, and I will also check through your account tonight.

It did look like there was a problem, but marking the forums ready did the trick!
