Scanners

I've spent the better part of the day looking for a nice scanner for converting my 35mm film. Then it struck me to come here and check but there isn't(or am I blind?) any standard review area for scanners. I think it would be useful to have something like that in the accessories in the review section.

Good idea, but most scanners aren't available that long before a replacement model is out.

Yeah, but when new ones come out they are usually based upon an older model, which would give on a good idea as to what to buy.

Your best bet to get the latest information and specific to just what you want is to post a question on this board in the appropriate forum.
You should mention just what you want to do - scan 35mm slides? scan 35mm negatives? scan any other sizes? scan any prints? etc.
You will get a variety of answers at a variety of prices and you will get actual user evaluations and experiences.
A database would soon be outdated and does not give multiple user feedback.
Good luck in your search!
