Hello, i think the Pentax lens review section should be expanded to include other lenses people use as well. Many of us own third party lenses. Even though there may be a sense of commitment to strictly promote pentax lenses, in my opinion i think we can still retain that commitment and have other lens reviews; in so long as they are all still pentax-mount compatible. Also i think some people have to start participating more in actually submitting a review of a lens (perhaps they need encouragement/reminders?). Often i see a lens has thousands of views, but with fewer than 10 REviews. This probably is an indication that people desparately seek some advice on a particular lens. I think if there can be an increase in reviews, there will be fewer people asking the same (type) question over and over again in the forums: "what do you think of THIS lens...?"

Third party lenses has already been suggested, there is a thread where you can submit info regarding third party lenses in order to build a database of the nescesary lens info to open up such a section.

How about showing the most recent post for the Lens Review section? This way if there was a new review submitted we would be inclined to click on it and check it out.

I'll look into adding a link to this, but I think that there is an issue with the database searh engine that caps the number of results returned once over 500 reviews have been posted.

As for the third-party lens database, as well as the teleonverter database, I should begin serious work on them starting in mid-December, and hopefully, the will both be online by the end of the month.
