EXIF data

I always process my shots the same way in UFRaw then conversion to jpeg and any further processing using GIMP and resize in GIMP to post on the forum. When I post the photos some have a tab at the top of the photo with a drop down EXIF data box, but most don't have this, my question is why do some have this and some don't?

thanks
CC.

Some software strips the data, particularly if "save for web" is used.

Yup it's got to exif intact prior to upload AND be within our filesize restrictions, and then the data will be shown automatically.

Ah!, .... as all my pics are resized to the same pixel count 1024 x 681 its the file size which depending on subject matter and jpeg compression which is the difference. It doesn't really bother me one way or the other, but I was just curious. thanks guys.

cheers
