Suggestion False Facebook advertisement... spam

I just got this today in my email account spam folder, please be careful, never give your password to anybody.

That notification was legit- not sure why you're saying it's false?

Today we disabled the facebook connect system.

Sorry, it just looked suspicious to me. You get warnings like this, and it could be a phishing scam.
I withdraw my warning, I should of logged on to the forum first before shooting off my mouth. MY BAD!

Not a good way to start.

It's always best to err on the side of security these days, don't sweat it. Nine times out of ten, when you get an unsolicited password change email, it's a phishing attempt.

Glad to see that FB junk is gone.

Just hover the mouse over the link; it will show you where you will be taken. Does not work for buttons

The important part is the domain.

When hovering over the link, the last part between 'http://' and the first '/' should be pentaxforums.com
http://www.pentaxforums.com/ and http://somethingelse.pentaxforums.com/ are OK
http://www.pentaxforums.com.something.else/ is not OK (or at least suspicious)

Hover over the below link
http://www.pentaxforums.com

It reads pentaxforums but clicking takes you to the empty startpage of my website
