Wouldn't it be a good idea to have a possibility to report problems with the forum other than with the forum software?
An e-mail address or so?
I'm referring to this thread.
Yesterday, I had the same problem. I tried to create an error thread but naturally that was not possible. Sending a pm to a moderator failed as well.
So there was no possibility to inform about the problem.
Hence this suggestion.

The preferred method of contacting us is via our facebook or google plus pages. E-mail won't get you very far because chances that if the forum is down, either I know about it or I'm unavailable, and I don't have a server person on call.

Often websites have a (kind of default) email address that can be used: webmaster@domain (replace domain with whatever is appropriate); if it bounces, you know it's wrong but it often works.
