Question cancel email notification

Hi

I get e-mail notifications of all new responses of posts I have participated in. I do not wish to receive these anymore, but in the control panel I cannot find anything to deactivate this service. Can anybody please tell me how to turn off e-mail notifications so I don't receive them anymore?

Got to User CP>Edit Options. Under "Default Thread Subscription Mode" select (from the drop-down) your preference.

Goto My Account / Edit Options -- find "Default Thread Subscription Mode" and change there (User CP notifications only is a good option -- just see what's new when you get on the site). That will take care of future threads.

To unsubscribe from threads you are already subscribed to, goto My Account / Subscribed Threads, hit the checkbox on the top to select them all (not sure if you can select EVERYTHING at once), then scroll to bottom and use the "move to" dropdown to unsubscribe ("move to" is confusing here, but that's where the unsubscribe options are)...

I learned this only stops new subscriptions.
To kill emails from threads before the change go to your subscriptions and delete any you don't want.
