Not every thread is replied to. I looked at your threads. Didn't have any useful information to say.

Maybe no one had the answer to your specific question.

Have you considered that perhaps it's your attitude, and not this group, that stinks?

Here's the unanswered threads search, we make it quite easily accessible: Search Results - PentaxForums.com

Wish there were an answer for everything, but there isn't

With so many different film models, specifics about any one are of interest to only a small number of folks. Many of us concentrate on the older models, and have no knowledge of anything as new as a Super Program!

These threads of yours here:

https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-film-slr-discussion/175714-super-p...eassembly.html
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-film-slr-discussion/176218-pentax-...incorrect.html

might not have responses because of the type of technical request you are asking.
This forum usually has technical recommendations provided by knowledgeable members, so if this has not been replied to ....nobody has an answer "yet". ?

I would suggest that you be a bit patient and, if this not possible, go and search some other photography-technical forums; the more places you ask the more chances to get some answer.

One last piece of advice: just don't post things like this here: " this group stinks "

I have a Super-program, had it since 1985 or so, never taken it apart, so no help with that.
As far as mistakes in service-manuals, that is pretty common. I do not have one for the Super-program, so, no help there either.
I read your posts before but did not have anything constructive or degratory? to say so choose not to respond.

Cheers.

damn, took me 10 minutes to re-read your posts and type this.

That is far, far better perhaps than my celebrities graves thread - 35,000 views, 7 replies. And it doesn't take much technical background.

If you really want to be frustrated with the Views/Posts ratio you should start a For Sale thread.

I repaired the Super A/Program in the past and the shutter dial, or really, the main dial, is rather simple to work with. However, I don't usually memorize the detail and have absolutely no idea whether it was 1 or 1.5mm ball bearing. I usually troubleshoot things on the fly if you know what I mean. Now if you live in my area I can fix it for you but I have to actually look at the problem to work with. Not much help I guess.

Now if you can't work out and fix a simple dial, perhaps repair camera is not for you. No offense.

Yes, but there is a basic human decency that is assumed among a group of people. (Unless we're talking about politicians of course)

Immediately coming out with the comment 'this group stinks' does tend to violate that basic decency.
