Yuck!

White or gray on a dark background (like rangefinderforum.com) is fine, but red or yellow only as offered here is not.
BTW I see recent changes have screwed up some text formatting of members signatures, too.

I'll stick with one of the classic schemes for now...

Good deal. The orange/yellow version really works. And above all the dark skin really makes images pop.

I'm using the orange/yellow and I like it. I think with time to adjust it will be a major improvement. Thank You @Adam!

+1 on the orange/yellow. I'll give it a workout over the next few days - the red just wasn't cutting it, tho.

What's wrong with member signatures in the dark skin? I've got them disabled so I can't tell.

Quick reply box should probably be dark as well, with light-colored text. Sticks out like a sore thumb, as-is.

Not loving the yellow/orange or the red, but I like the idea of a dark theme. Keep working on it!

Font I was using is no longer displayed in all schemes.
When I edited it I saw there is no longer a font option.
(Signature permissions - Allow Font BB Code: No)

Yup that's correct, no more crazy fonts in posts in any skin. Most people ended up changing fonts to something that was hardly readable. You can still control size and color (though that might be going away as well).

The yellow on dark background is easier to read than the neon red but the moderators' names in blue hardly stand out at all. Perhaps a lighter shade of blue for their names?

I've changed it from dark blue to light blue- I know it's a subtle change, but at least it's more visible. It's got to be something that work sin all the skins, I'm afraid.

How do I make the dark skin 'stick'? I just clicked through from an email thread subscription notification and ended up with the white and red skin again?
