Can I rename a link?

When posting, is it possible to distill a link down to a single word of my choice?

In other words, can I make the text of a link appear as one word, such as "here" or "this"?

Yes. Highlight your word, then click on the world with chain link icon, insert/paste your link address in the box that pops up..
